The Royal College of General Practitioners is the largest membership organisation solely for GPs in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1952, it has over 53,000 members who are committed to improving patient care, developing their own skills and promoting general practice as a discipline. General practice is the largest branch of the medical profession. It provides some 1 million consultations for patients in the UK every working day and deals with 86% of the health problems experienced by the UK population.
The Office and Governance Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the work of the College in Scotland through the provision of high-level executive support to the Joint Chairs of the College and a secretariat function for various committees and groups.
We are looking for someone with exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and a can-do attitude. You will have previous experience of providing complex executive support to senior leaders and secretariat support to committees. You will:
This role will be remote working initially with a view to returning to the office in Edinburgh city centre in spring 2022. We offer flexible working hours Monday to Friday.
