Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the effective and consistent delivery of pre-employment services throughout the organisation. Working collaboratively with the Recruitment Team and wider stakeholders, your focus will be on ensuring that pre-employment checks for candidates are completed in an accurate and timely manner, as well as a range of other related administrative tasks.

Key Accountabilities:

Checking Right to Work documents

Requesting, chasing & checking references

Setting up criminal records check for candidates, ensuring correct documentation is received and verified

Liaise with candidates either by telephone or e-mail

Managing candidate’s pre-employment checks through to completion

Setting up occupational health checks for candidates

Liaising with hiring managers / candidates to answer queries and update on progress of checks

Maintaining and updating of pre-employment files

Management of centralised Recruitment Inbox and associated queries

What we are looking for:

Experience working in a recruitment environment and strong understanding of pre-employment / onboarding best practices

Excellent administration skills and good attention to detail

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet tight deadlines

Embraces innovative approaches and technologies which enable improvements in procedures and services

Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation, using tact and diplomacy

Excellent working knowledge & experience of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
