Home-Start Renfrewshire & Inverclyde have an exciting opportunity for a Group Coordinator to join their growing service in Renfrewshire.

Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde promotes the welfare of families with at least one young child, helping to build strong families and prevent family breakdown. The successful candidate will be based in Paisley and will provide facilitate two family groups for Home-Start’s Renfrewshire service. You will have similar experience in a work-related capacity together with excellent IT and communication skills.

Main responsibilities:

• Facilitate and manage two weekly Family Group sessions, with responsibility for planning and preparing content of sessions, including activities, refreshments and speakers.

• Maintain a caseload of all group-only Renfrewshire families.

• Provide administration requirements for all Renfrewshire Home-Start Groups.

• Work co-operatively with the Home-Start Staff team and Trustees to ensure plans are discussed and issues resolved and that all family, safety, service and financial records are completed, kept up to date, monitored and reported.

• Develop the profile, awareness and understanding of the service across the Renfrewshire area.

• Assist and support the Scheme Manager / Senior Coordinator in all office management requirements.

• Any other duties that that required to fulfil the needs of the organisation.
