Promise Scotland is recruiting a Governance Projects Officer to join its dedicated and dynamic Oversight Team. They are searching for a candidate with a solid background in administration, with experience of providing 360° support to boards or committees. The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as MS Teams, with the ability to produce high-quality documents. The Promise Scotland is looking for a clear, warm communicator who is highly organised with demonstrable project management skills.

The Promise Scotland is responsible for driving the work of change demanded by the findings of the Independent Care Review. It works with all kinds of organisations to support shifts in policy, practice and culture so Scotland can #KeepThePromise it made to care experienced infants, children, young people, adults and their families - that every child grows up loved, safe and respected, able to realise their full potential.
The Promise Oversight Board is critical to ensuring that the Promise made to Scotland's children and families is kept. The Oversight Board reports to the care community and publicly on the progress made and uses its networks, relationships and governance structure to provide support and guidance wherever necessary.
