Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Perth & Kinross are looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.

At Turning Point Scotland Perth & Kinross, we deliver services for people who have a learning disability or autism and unique and complex behaviours which challenge the service: many of the individuals we support have some forensic histories. We support people who live in 24/7 supported accommodation projects. We also provide support within our outreach service to people with learning disabilities within the area of Perth & Kinross.

We work in a person centred way tailoring support to meet the needs of the people we support maximising choice and autonomy while assessing and managing risk in conjunction with the Tayside Risk Management Group.

We also offer support through our garden project at the Perth Harbour-side. This offers the chance for people to develop skills for future employment, gain confidence and work with others in a positive and supportive environment.

The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.

Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Fife are looking for Full and Part-Time Support Practitioners to assist in the provision of personalised support to a wide range of people experiencing homelessness and to take forward our well-established Housing First support. Fife Housing First

Fife Housing First is a new service in which we will work across localities in Fife to enable people to maintain independent tenancy sustainment, reconnect with their local communities and assist them to build their resilience to prevent repeat homelessness. We respond to the individual needs of those who are homeless or at the risk of becoming homeless, including those who are rough sleeping, or are in temporary or permanent accommodation. The service supports people who may have multiple needs which may be related to mental health, substance use, offending, finance and employment.

We believe that a home is a human right and that an individual is best placed to deal with the issues that made them homeless in the first place, in a place they can call home.

As a Lead Practitioner, you will be required to work on your own initiative, make decisions and provide support to colleagues; you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes.

TPS recognise and value the role of lived experience in the support process. We actively encourage people who have lived experience (of homelessness, problematic alcohol or other drug use, compromised mental well-being or the justice system) to apply for this role.

Are you a proactive and creative fundraiser with a passion for social justice and delivering innovative fundraising campaigns?

Role

As an experienced, proactive and creative fundraiser, you will deliver Bethany’s individual giving strategy, including campaign production, acquiring and retaining donors, stewarding major gifts and legacies, and developing philanthropic partnerships. As a team lead you will provide guidance and inspire your team of individual giving fundraisers through mentoring and celebrating successes.

You will be part of the multi-disciplinary fundraising team, supporting other areas including events and digital. Living our values, you will work with colleagues across the charity on fundraising appeals, donor acquisition and stewardship, so that, together, we can end homelessness in Scotland one person at a time.

Essential skills and experience

• Qualified to degree level or have demonstrative experience of teamwork, analysis and working to time scales.
• Experience of working in a fundraising or communications role in either voluntary or paid capacity.
• Excellent written and oral skills.
• Positive attitude and a friendly, approachable manner with a desire to grow connections.
• Willingness to carry out any other ad hoc duties as required.

• Experience of event management
• Proven experience of growing fundraised income.
• Donorfy or similar CRM experience
• Knowledge of third sector and social care sector
