Role

Operating within the Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers, as an accredited provider, Stirling Council Money, Debt & Benefits Advice Team promotes the financial inclusion of Stirling Citizens.

The Team provides direct money, debt and benefits advice, advocacy and representation; giving people the knowledge, tools and confidence to be able to resolve matters themselves, or provide a gateway to specialist advice or other complementary services when further help is required.

We are currently seeking a temporary Money, Debt and Benefit Adviser to work alongside 3 established Money, Debt and Benefit Advisers in Stirling Enhanced Advice Service; delivering full income maximisation, money, debt and welfare benefits advice to Stirling residents.

This temporary post, funded until 31st March 2025, will report to the Advice Services and Welfare Reform Team Leader and is part funded by the European Social Fund.
