We are delighted to be recruiting for the role of Marketing and Communications Manager in the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home communications team.
Reporting to the Director of Income and Engagement, you will be responsible for all marketing and communications throughout the Home. This will include creating and executing internal and external marketing and communications strategies, overseeing our website and rehoming app and responsibility for all social media activity in relation to the home’s operations and outreach. You will also oversee the Home’s digital marketing, advertising, and engagement as well as our brand, messaging, campaigns, and promotions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in a similar role, is able to demonstrate a hands-on and proactive approach and has exceptional oral and written communication skills. You will work well in a team setting, have strong leadership and project management skills and the ability to develop and motivate a small team. Knowledge of digital communications and digital engagement platforms is essential.

Fundraising Manager

Over recent years, SCOTLAND: The Big Picture (SBP) has grown from a fledgling charity to an established and impactful organisation with an annual budget of over £1m in restricted and unrestricted funds.
Following the recent departure of our long-term Head of Fundraising, this new Fundraising Manager role will have responsibility for fundraising through trusts and foundations, major donors and individual giving, working with our Fundraising Officer.
The role will be focused on growing and diversifying our core funding, ensuring our projects are fully funded, managing the information and relationships relating to our funding, and reporting back to funders on the outcomes and impact driven by their support.

We are looking for a HR Coordinator to work as part of the HR team and wider support services to provide a professional and customer focussed HR operational service across the colleague lifecycle in line with Scottish Wildlife Trust’s policies, procedures and values.
You will provide first level HR advice to managers and staff on all aspects of HR Management, Employment Law and the Trust's policies and procedures.
You will also be responsible for preparing payroll instructions for our outsourced payroll provider as well as liaising with our pension provider.
Qualifications / Essential Criteria
- Partially completed or working towards a CIPD qualification
Essential Experience
- Proven experience of working in a busy office in an HR environment, where the following experience will have been gained:
- Managing payroll, pensions and calculating staff entitlements and benefits
- Managing computerised HR database and other office systems and using them to collate and analyse data
- Providing quality first-level HR advice and knowing when to escalate
