Healthy Valleys is a community-led organisation committed to providing outstanding local services that help preserve the mental and physical health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities living in rural South Lanarkshire.
Due to successfully securing new funding, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and hard-working individual to lead on a new initiative engaging with local communities to build community strength and resilience. We are looking for a passionate person who wants to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of people living in deprived areas in rural South Lanarkshire.
You will work with key people to build safer, more integrated communities that have a common voice, increased resilience, equality of access to health and wellbeing support, and hope for the future. You will enable these communities to respond to identified priorities and support them to develop sustainable responses, creating services where there is need, and connecting communities with partner organisations to propel action forward.

This role is subject to a PVG Disclosure Scotland check, which will be paid by Healthy Valleys and successful references.
Due to the requirement for travel around rural communities, the postholder must have a full, clean driving licence, access to their own transport (with appropriate business insurance)
