Senior Project Worker, Employability Support

Are you interested in joining an award-winning Scottish charity whose aim is to provide support to people whose lives are affected by mental health problems or illness? Change Mental Health have an exciting opportunity in the Employability Support Project in Dumfries & Galloway for someone with a passion for empowerment looking to use their skills and experience to help develop the Project alongside the Service Manager.

In this varied and exciting role, you will give guidance and support to staff and students, to ensure that they are developing themselves as well as those they support. Working as part of the Employability Team the role offers you an opportunity to be innovative and creative in meeting the needs of those who work in and use the Project.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate should be someone who can work as part of a team, be creative in their approach to working with people, have excellent communication skills and have a sense of humour. They should be educated to SVQ Level 3 or its equivalent, have experience of supporting staff and volunteers, with a clear understanding of working practices that include Health and Safety, ensuring that legislative requirements are met.
