Scottish Refugee Council is an independent human rights charity that has been supporting and advocating for the rights of refugees since 1985. Our work involves the provision of services and support to refugees, advocating and campaigning for change and improvements to legislation and policy in Scotland and the UK and supporting the integration of refugees into society.
Scottish Refugee Council is looking for a Finance Team Leader to support and assist senior staff in the daily management of the Finance Department in ensuring compliance with the financial systems and controls throughout the organisation.
We are looking for proven experience of financial administration including using the SAGE ( or similar) financial system to post transactions, run reports and carry out control account reconciliations. You will also have experience in dealing with managers and budget holders at all levels to resolve and assist in their understanding of financial matters.
You will have excellent communication skills combined with an ability to work in a high-pressure situation in a rapidly changing environment. You will have excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and to produce financial information within deadlines.
