Promise Delivery Partner: Fife and Tayside (Dundee, Angus, Fife and Perth & Kinross)

The Promise Scotland is responsible for driving the work of change demanded by the conclusions of the Independent Care Review.

It works with all kinds of organisations to support shifts in policy, practice, and culture so Scotland can #KeepThePromise it made to care experienced infants, children, young people, adults, and their families - that every child grows up loved, safe and respected, able to realise their full potential.

The Promise Scotland’s sole reason for being is to facilitate and support change, wherever that change needs to happen to make sure that Scotland will #KeepThePromise.

A role has arisen in our Support Team to join our multi-disciplinary team of Promise Delivery Partners. Delivery Partners develop pro-active supportive relationships with key partners, including national agencies, local authorities, voluntary sector organisations, corporate parents and other national bodies supporting the change required to keep the Promise.

The Promise Delivery Partners, with a particular commitment to an allocated region, have responsibility to develop and maintain support relationships with key individuals and groups within the sector. They work to surface learning and innovation; to provide spaces for connection and reflection that help people move through implementation barriers; and ultimately to act as anchor to the voice of the care experienced community that underpins the independent care review.

Working Conditions

The Promise Scotland’s normal place of work is Charlotte House, Edinburgh. The Promise Scotland operates flexible working arrangements seeking to meet the needs of its individual team members whilst also being able to fulfil the activities set out in Plan 21-24, within a positive and supportive team culture and environment.
