Role

Wiston Lodge is an independent outdoor centre set in 50 acres of woodland in the South Lanarkshire Countryside. Since 2007 the charity has built a reputation for providing inclusive, outdoor experiences and opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to help achieve their potential. We work in partnership with many organisations but are not dependent on Scottish or local government support and generate our own funds through sales and fund-raising.

We are currently looking to fill vacancies on the Board of Trustees. We want our Board to represent the diverse nature of our work and invite people with a wide range of experience to apply. The Trustees work in a voluntary capacity with the executive staff to oversee the management and development of Wiston Lodge. We are especially keen to recruit people with skills or experience in marketing, events, HR, project management or business development. An interest in outdoor learning and its role in personal development is essential to understand the Wiston Lodge model.
