About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as the Service Coordinator for Falkirk. Our Falkirk services currently support nine individuals through a combination of community and home-based support.
As our Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day to day management of our services, including the planning, delivery and review of support packages and the management of staff. You will be the key link between the individuals we support and their families, our Support Workers and health and social care professionals. And you will assist in the development and growth of our services and our dedicated staff team.
Our service has a commitment to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). While knowledge of this person-centred approach would be an advantage, it is not essential as training can be provided by our in-house PBS team.
About you
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate individual who is solutions focused and capable of anticipating and managing challenges, balancing conflicting priorities and ensuring we deliver high quality support and care.
An excellent understanding of the ambitions and needs of the individuals we support is essential. You will have a minimum of five years experience in care and support, with two of these years at a supervisory level. You will hold an SVQ3 qualification - or above - in health and social care, or a related field, in line with the requirements of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
You will be able to play your part on our 24-hour on-call rota and to work flexibly, in line with the needs of the service.
