Role

Are you passionate about helping disabled people to be in charge of their own life? Our Housing Information Officer works with individuals to assist them with considering their options for housing in Fife.

Used to carrying a caseload, you’ll be helping people to understand the various options for their housing. Your work will likely cover the whole of Fife, though we may divide up the area into patches at a future date.

Warm, kind and approachable, you’ll be a great communicator and you’ll bring a creative, problem solving and “can do” attitude. You’ll be used to working on your own initiative, but also being part of and contributing to, a supportive team.

This post has been created after a restructuring, which brings together the two parts of our organisation – SDS and Disabled Persons Housing Support – to work in a more integrated way.

If you like the idea of being part of and contributing to, an organisation going through change, come and help us be the best we can be, in order to provide the best possible service to the people of the Kingdom.

In return, as well as your salary, you’ll get a very generous leave allowance of 43 days pro rata, flexible working arrangements, employers pension contribution of 5% and death in service benefit.

The successful applicants will be subject to PVG checks
