Fife Carers Centre is a well-regarded and well established organisation who have been supporting thousands of family and unpaid carers throughout Fife since 1995. We work with adult carers on a one to one basis and in groups. We support carers in their caring role with relevant and straightforward information as well as practical help. We give information and the means to use it to carers on a wide range of topics from applying for benefits to learning more about the condition affecting the person you care for. Most importantly we will work with the carer to protect their own physical, emotional, mental and financial health whilst they maintain their caring role.
We now have an opportunity to bring in new members to our team to meet the ever growing need to support unpaid carers in new and diverse ways.
This is an exciting and unusual opportunity for the right person!
As Training and Information Office your role will be an integral part of the overall Fife Carers Centre team. You will help to produce and manage information on behalf of colleagues and the board of directors.
You will organise consultation groups with carers and collate the information gathered.
