We are now seeking aFamily Carer Support Workerto join our team in an exciting new role funded byThe Robertson Trust. Based at our centre in Kirkcaldy, the role will also involve regular travel across Fife as well as working from home and in community settings.
In this role, you will provide a sensitive, person-centred support service for unpaid and family carers. You will help carers maintain their physical and mental wellbeing by offering comprehensive, tailored information and support. This includes one-to-one support to enable carers to make informed choices about their own emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing.

Support will be offered for a limited period, focused on empowering carers, building resilience, and helping them to stabilise their caring situations.

You will be based at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, but may be expected to travel throughout Fife.
Your work will include providing a sensitive, person-centred support service for carers where the cared-for person is in hospital, working closely with Fife Carers Centre team to establish continuity of support for Carers after discharge.
You'll be working closely with hospital teams, advocating for carers, providing essential information, and ensuring they receive the support they need. If you have experience in carer support, social care, or health services and want to be part of a team that values and recognises unpaid carers, we’d love to hear from you.
