Role

The Rapid Re-accommodation Welcome Centre is emergency accommodation for people who are sleeping rough through the winter months.

We require temporary staff who will work constant night shift for 30 weeks (one week on, one week off). You will work in Edinburgh in conjunction with volunteers who provide meals and support from 7.45pm to 8am, with an hour break. Ideally, you will have a good knowledge of the service user group and a working knowledge of MS Office. An SVQ3 in Health & Social Care/Promoting Independence is desirable.

Team Leader hours may become available too.

As Bethany is a Christian organisation this post carries an Occupational Requirement in line with Equality Act 2010. Applicants should have and be able to evidence an active Christian faith and commitment. Successful applicants for this post will require an enhanced disclosure and membership of the PVG scheme.
