Who we are
Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway (TSDG) is a thriving charity that supports and represents charities, social enterprises, community groups, and volunteers across the region. As a Third Sector Interface (TSI), we act as an intermediary between the third sector and statutory partners. Our mandate is to:
• Be a central source of knowledge about the third sector locally
• Be a voice for the sector
• Seek to influence local and national policy
• Facilitate networking and enable collaboration
• Build capacity in the sector and in the community
• Ensure specific tranches of funding are accessible to the Third Sector
The organisation’s principal funder is the Scottish Government, with additional funding from local and regional statutory agencies.
TSDG has had a sustained period of growth and a reputation for quality work. Our CEO is retiring so we are looking for a quality leader to maintain our momentum and help us deliver our vision of “An improved quality of life for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people and communities in Dumfries and Galloway by working in partnership”.
We wish to appoint a dynamic and passionate CEO to lead us into the next phase of our development and help maximise the capability of the organisations we represent across Dumfries and Galloway.
