By joining Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as an Internal Communications Officer you can be the difference between people just surviving and really living.

You will be part of Scotland’s leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again. Our Hospital to Home services form a nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke

We’re looking for an Internal Communications specialist as a job share with our existing Internal Communications Officer and together you will be responsible for planning, creating and delivering high quality content to engage staff across our charity.

The role holder will provide support across teams and Directorates to make sure staff are aware of opportunities to get involved in the charity’s activities and to celebrate the successes of the charity, its staff and volunteers. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative communications all-rounder who is committed to delivering excellent communications to support the charity’s objectives and strategy. You will be an excellent writer and need to be able to build strong effective relationships with key stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation.

As Internal Communications Officer you will be working within our dynamic Content team as part of our wider Communications team.
