Key functions and owned responsibilities

To ensure that the project can meet objectives, the essential functions and responsibilities against which performance is measured are as follows:

  1. To work closely with the Project Manager to ensure optimal support for the project.
  2. Main DWP and schools contact – To be the main contact for the DWP and local schools, identify referrals and assess potential clients with appropriate outcomes for each client.
  3. Manage and deliver projects for Young People – including CV Workshops, IT Workshops and any other relevant sessions to our clients.
  4. To work alongside our Volunteering and Partnership Coordinator – to contribute to developing and implementing a programme relevant to the clients we support.
  5. Strategic development – working alongside the Project Manager to evaluate and develop ongoing strategic direction - to be shared with the Board.
  6. To lead evaluation and development of appropriate income-generating initiatives with other staff members - which would support Works+ core aims and objectives.

Secondary Functions

  1. In conjunction with the Project Manager, assist Clients with benefits applications/ Job & Grant applications.
  2. In conjunction with the Project Manager, ‘signpost’ Young People to appropriate support functions and opportunities.

Reporting

You will report to the Project Manager for support and ongoing performance appraisal.
