Gen+ is a charity organization that aims to build meta-skills capacity for every pupil and their teacher in Scotland. Our mission is to equip young people with timeless and transferable skills that will help them learn, lead, and thrive in any area of learning, work, and life. With a focus on developing communication, collaboration, initiative, organization, resilience, and leadership skills, our world-leading digital platform engages learners with fun and interactive lessons to unlock their full potential. Teachers lead pupils through the digital platform in a blended learning model, and also benefit from Gen+ Teach, which provides transformative and innovative teacher professional development to support, equip and inspire our leaders of learning.
We are now expanding our current reach from 11 schools this year, and are now embedding the Gen+ Leaders programme within schools in the North East, Angus and Perth regions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team as a School Liaison Coordinator for the Aberdeen region so that schools in the North East, Angus and Perth can become Gen+ schools of excellence.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for training teaching staff in the region, and acting as the on-the-ground liaison between school staff and the Gen+ team.
You will also be responsible for gathering high-quality feedback from pupils and staff, to support the programme’s evidence and impact work on the ground. In addition, you will train teachers and teach lessons to model best practices for how teachers can deliver the programme. You will also support the embedding of Gen+ Teach within schools' CPD plans.
If you are enthusiastic, innovative, and committed to making a positive impact on young people's lives, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to transform Scottish education.
