The Tannahill Centre is a community facility located at the heart of Ferguslie Park. As well as being the home of a number of essential services and amenities, the centre also delivers a wide range of community and personal development opportunities with the aim of ensuring Ferguslie Park reaches its full potential.

Main purpose

To recruit, support and work with young people in an empowering way so they can participate in volunteering and active citizenship activities that increase their skills, knowledge and confidence.

The Youth Development Officer will support young people both in groups and on a one-to-one basis, enabling them to develop personal development plans and participate in experiential learning and accredited opportunities.

The role will lead and coordinate youth work provision and school holiday provision within the Tannahill Centre, managing youth work staff and volunteers, developing new opportunities for young people and strengthening partnerships that support positive youth development.

Working alongside the Community Development Manager, the postholder will also identify funding opportunities and develop partnerships to grow youth work provision with the aim of expanding the service to a six-day-per-week youth work programme and increasing opportunities for young people across Ferguslie Park

LGBT Health and Wellbeing was established in 2003 to improve the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people across Scotland.

Today, we are Scotland’s national charity for LGBTQ+ adults, working every day to make sure people have somewhere to turn, somewhere to belong, and somewhere they can be themselves.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of the most ambitious pieces of work in our organisation's history.

Thanks to support from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, we're developing Scotland's first LGBTQ+ Inclusive Care Standard - a co-produced framework that will improve how inclusive care is understood, delivered, and experienced across Scotland.

Working alongside LGBTQ+ people with lived experience, care providers, and national partners, you'll lead the development, piloting and implementation of the Standard, helping to create lasting improvements in health and social care while influencing wider policy, practice and systems.

You don't need to have developed a national Standard before, but you'll bring experience of leading projects, working collaboratively and turning ambitious ideas into practical action. Home-Start Stirling is a local charity that provides support to families with young children who are experiencing challenging times. Our support is delivered through various services including home-visiting and group support. The manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for Home-Start Stirling, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality, safe and effective support for families. The role is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the charity, working closely with the Board of Trustees to strengthen governance, develop strategy, support staff and volunteers, maintain strong partnerships and ensure the charity is well-positioned for the future. Fathers Network Scotland improves children's lives through the positive involvement of dads, father-figures & whole families.

This is a voluntary role requiring attendance at six 2-hour Board meetings each year, held in Edinburgh and online. Support and induction will be provided.

The Treasurer supports the Board in maintaining financial oversight and helps achieve the charity’s financial objectives.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Digital Communications, Marketing and Fundraising Coordinator to lead on developing and operating PEEK’s digital communications and fundraising campaigns, ensuring effective digital marketing and PR in support of fundraising, the organisation, and its services. This includes responsibility for managing communications with supporters and using data insights to increase its effectiveness and strengthening PEEK’s visibility, voice and impact. This role ensures PEEK’s stories are told consistently, powerfully, and ethically, and that communications directly contribute to income generation, partnership development, and community engagement.
