We work in Scotland with older people’s groups who provide vital activities and services for older people in their local community. We campaign on the issues that older people tell us are important to them.
We know that growing older doesn’t come with a manual. Later life can bring opportunities and challenges, and people may need to know about rights, organisations and services which are often unfamiliar. That’s why we provide free information, advice and friendship to support older people on a diverse range of topics.

People-centred in approach, you will be responsible for providing an exemplary ‘First Port of Call’ service in a hybrid virtual contact centre environment. You will respond to inbound and outbound contact, providing information and friendship to older people living in Scotland, their families and carers. You will provide cover and support to other telephony services within Age Scotland.
The role will be a hybrid blend of office-based (in Edinburgh) and home-based work.

Gorgie and Palmerston Place (G+PP Church) is a new charge formed by the union of two thriving congregations in the west of Edinburgh. The united parish is one of the largest in the city, in terms of both geographical extent and population. Purpose of the post:
Along with our Communications Coordinator to be part of our Staff Team, providing administrative support to the Minister, Property Conveners, Treasurers, Session Clerks and volunteers involved in our Mission so that we can fulfil our Vision priorities. To oversee the use of all of our buildings and assist in the maintenance and upkeep. Both Coordinators will share responsibility for dealing with callers at the door and handling incoming post, email and phone calls.

As a Family Worker, you will offer emotional and direct practical help to families experiencing short- or long-term challenges. You will work with families; identifying areas where support is required, working with them to co-produce a family support plan which will be individually tailored to their child’s and family’s needs. You will agree outcomes and personal goals within the child’s plan.
The role of the Family Worker will be diverse and wide ranging and will include the following:
You will manage your own diary, and your hours will be 20 per week, worked flexibly between 7am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday. The days and hours worked will be agreed with families within the family support plan. There may also occasionally be a need to provide additional support out with these times and to be able to respond to crises and family stress.

Our service is a safe space for not only our young man but for his family to spend meaningful time. We are looking for two Young People’s Worker. You will work these hours as part of a residential rota, this will include days, nights, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Resilient Renters is a Southside Community Centre Association SCIO initiative, funded by Safe Deposits Scotland Charitable Trust.
We are seeking a sessional worker to deliver our new Resilient Renters information sessions.
The sessional worker shall work with us to develop and deliver a new training session, of up to two hours, which shall be delivered weekly over the next year. The training session should educate those renting in the private rented sector of their rights and responsibilities. The sessions are intended to empower tenants in order that they may protect themselves and their interests.
Whilst the sessions provide advice and guidance, they are not intended to provide specific case advice although participants will be signposted to a variety of specialist housing advice providers such as Citizens Advice.

The Ayrshire Hospice is therefore seeking an individual to fill the position of Technical Support Supervisor, who, working with the Head of Facilities and Property Management and the facilities team, will enable this to happen.
The Technical Support Supervisor will report directly to the Head of Facilities & Property Management and will assist in the delivery of a responsive and effective facilities management service.
The individual will have a good knowledge of facilities management, preferably in a health care setting, and will have experience of conducting general repairs. They will also have the skills necessary to diagnose and co-ordinate the corrective actions required on all aspects of; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems to ensure optimal operating results.
The successful candidate will support the planning and implementation of the organisation’s policies and procedures, including the day-to-day operations of the facilities portfolio. The successful candidates will manage facilities staff duties, liaising with contractors, hospice staff and volunteers, ensuring that health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
As a member of the Hospice team, you will be working in a clinical end of life care environment always putting the patients' needs first, despite conflicting priorities.
