Our long-term vision is to end youth homelessness, our more immediate mission is to ensure that every young person in Scotland has access to expert youth specific services to assist them to avoid, resolve and move on from homelessness.
Context
Working as part of our Fife Short Term Housing Support Team, the Project Worker will work directly with young people age 16-25 yrs to coordinate and provide emotional and practical support to avoid, resolve and move on from homelessness.
Working directly with young people in their home or within a community setting the Project Worker will support young people to improve their independent living skills, access other services, manage finances and secure/ maintain a permanent home.
The Project Workers are responsible for completing support plans and risk assessments and are the main contact for any key people involved in the care and support of young people.
Refugee Sanctuary Scotland (RSS) exists to relieve destitution and promote wellbeing for refugees and people within the asylum system in Scotland. Role Purpose:
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our small committed and vibrant team of staff who deliver incredible impact for their size. Your role will be focused on our strategic objective to ensure the charity’s sustainability by maximising and diversifying income and maintaining/developing the charity’s profile among the public, policy makers and other migrant justice organisations. You will be delivering strategic fundraising and communications, building partnerships, raising unrestricted and restricted funds from diverse income sources to support the sustainability of the charity.
To thrive in this role, you will need to be driven, organised, tenacious, creative, flexible, have good communication skills and be confident in inspiring existing and new funders and donors to donate to raise money. You will build strong relationships and partnerships both internally and externally, managing a varied portfolio of work that touches all aspects of the charity, write compelling funding applications, create campaigns and come up with new and innovative ideas to capture the minds and hearts of potential philanthropists. Greyfriars Kirk’s (GK) roots go back to 1620, and the site was a place of worship well before then. Today GK is a member of The Church of Scotland, and it has a small and committed congregation. The roll is about 250 and about 100 attend the main service on Sunday.
The key responsibility is to provide operational support to the Ministry Team to facilitate all practical aspects of services of worship in a respectful and dignified way.
You will be required to manage the Kirk’s core Sunday Services – 9:30am to 10:30am and a Gaelic Service from 11:30am to 12:30pm. You will also be required if available to assist with funerals, weddings and other services (including rehearsals) in the kirk and will be paid in addition to the Beadle salary.

About Sunny Cycles
Sunny Cycles is a community-focused cycling organisation which enables people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to enjoy the mental and physical benefits of cycling and cycling activities. Founded in 2022, we support mental health, social inclusion, and accessibility by providing led rides, cycling lessons, adaptive cycling for disabled people, and creating welcoming spaces for refugees and New Scots. We operate a community hub at Glasgow Green, and Victoria Park offering free or low-cost cycling sessions for individuals facing financial hardship, social isolation, or discrimination. We provide adapted bikes for those who cannot ride standard 2 wheelers and work with individuals and groups within the community to enable people to experience the mental and physical benefits of cycling.
Sunny Cycles operates as a registered charity and a social enterprise. As we grow, we are looking for a Development & Enterprise Officer who can strengthen our income generation pathways and support the long-term sustainability of our work, including our expanding work with disability and care-home cycling programmes.
Role Purpose
The Development & Enterprise Officer will lead on developing and delivering income-generating opportunities that support Sunny Cycles’ mission. This includes building partnerships, developing commercial activities, strengthening our social enterprise offer, managing budgets and ensuring financial sustainability so we can move away from grant funding.
The role is ideal for someone who is proactive, entrepreneurial, and passionate about inclusive cycling and community wellbeing.
Action Against Stalking (AAS), founded in 2014 by Dr Ann Moulds, is Scotland’s only charity dedicated solely to supporting people affected by stalking. We amplify the voices of victims, deliver free specialist support, and work with communities to raise awareness of the profound impact stalking can have on people’s lives.

About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll work as part of a team in providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for the people who use our services. You’ll do this by providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.
Main Responsibilities:
This Support Worker role at our Sauchiehall Street service involves working 27 hours per week across a variety of dayshifts, midshifts and backshifts, including some weekends. The earliest shift start time will be 7am, with the latest finish time being 10:15pm. The Support Worker will:
work as part of a team providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.
support, review, monitor and evaluate through our case management system, to achieve a positive person-centred outcome for the people we work with in line with organisational, statutory and legislative requirements.
maintain and update all recording systems and documentation in line with relevant policies, procedures and practice guidelines, including the occupancy agreement, within required timeframes.
provide, plan and facilitate key work meetings, key work sessions, meetings, reviews and other internal/external meetings in conjunction with the person’s support plan.
provide general advocacy and advice to the people we support, including assistance to enable them to meet the conditions of their occupancy agreements.

Elpis Trust delivers a person centred housing support service to 19 young women who are experiencing homelessness or are care leavers aged between 16-25 years. The supported accommodation is based in the Core service and satellite flats in the Ruchill and Maryhill area of Glasgow. Elpis provides a high-quality support service which addresses young woman’ identified and assessed needs and reflects the aims of the service to work within relevant organisational and statutory policies, including health and safety, employment and equality laws. This includes adhering to Scottish Social Services Council codes of practice, National Care Standards and contractual requirements. Staffs work closely with the young women to write up support plans and deliver an individually tailored service, utilising Ladders to Success and GIRFEC, SHANARRI Outcomes.
Job Purpose:
To have specific working responsibility at present for 19 vulnerable young women, 9 living in the Core building and 10 in scatter flats (to include mother & baby flats) in the Ruchill and Maryhill areas of Glasgow.
