Community Volunteers Enabling You (COVEY) has been a lifeline for children, young people and families across Lanarkshire since 1992. We provide one-to-one and group-based befriending, mentoring and family support services tailored to those who need it most. COVEY is entering an important period of growth. Our 2025-28 Strategy sets out ambitious plans to increase income, grow unrestricted funding, strengthen our external profile and develop wider community support for the charity.

As Corporate, Community & Events Fundraising Manager, you will lead the development of corporate partnerships, community fundraising and events, helping COVEY grow sustainable unrestricted income and build long-term relationships with supporters.

This is a new role with real scope to build on COVEY’s existing relationships with volunteers, staff, trustees, supporters, funders, schools, employers, community partners and local networks to identify new fundraising opportunities and partnerships.

You will also help shape fundraising activity linked to COVEY’s 35th anniversary in 2027, using this milestone to raise our profile and build long-term supporter relationships beyond the anniversary year.

This role would suit someone who is confident, proactive and relationship-focused, with the ability to spot opportunities, make compelling asks, build partnerships and turn interest into meaningful support for children, young people and families.

What we’re looking for:

• A successful track record of generating income, developing partnerships, identifying new leads and converting opportunities into active support
• Knowledge of corporate, community and events fundraising, including supporter stewardship, sponsorship, challenge events, employee fundraising, Charity of the Year partnerships and community-led fundraising
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including confidence in networking, presenting and making fundraising asks
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage fundraising activity, events, budgets, supporter communications and CRM records
• A collaborative, supporter-focused approach and a strong commitment to COVEY’s mission, values and outcomes

This is a new Locality Manager role working alongside our Head of Children and Families. You will lead the strategic implementation and operational management of our Glasgow and West Children and Families programmes, including Young People Family Support, Mentoring, and South Ayrshire Supported Accommodation.

This is work with children, young people and families whose lives are affected by poverty, care experience, housing insecurity, trauma and family breakdown. Your role

• Leading services well. You will directly manage delivery across our Glasgow and West Children and Families programmes, making sure services are safe, person-centred, strengths-based and aligned with Right There’s aims, values and strategic objectives. 
• Keeping the focus on quality and outcomes. You will lead delivery in line with agreed outcomes, robust operational controls and best-practice legislation and guidance, including UNCRC, The Promise, GIRFEC, Care Inspectorate standards and SSSC Codes of Practice. 
• Supporting teams to do their best work. You will lead, coach and develop service managers, coordinators and delivery teams, creating a positive culture where people feel supported, accountable and able to learn through reflective practice.
• Making data useful. You will make sure service data, KPIs, reporting and quality assurance are accurate, timely and used well, so decisions are grounded in evidence and services keep improving.
• Growing and developing services. You will take ownership of service development and annual business planning, investigating opportunities that align with existing provision and supporting proposals and tenders for new and developing work.
• Building trusted partnerships. You will represent Right There with commissioners, local authorities, social work, housing, health services, the Care Inspectorate and other partners, making sure relationships are purposeful, professional and rooted in the needs of the people we support.
• Managing risk, resources and compliance. You will oversee budgets, staffing, safeguarding, health and safety, complaints, reporting requirements and service standards, making sure the practical foundations are strong enough to support excellent delivery.

• You are confident with quality assurance, performance management and service reporting, and you use data to improve what happens in practice.
• You know how to build and lead teams, support managers, hold standards and create a culture where people can do good work well.
• You can manage competing priorities, respond calmly to crisis and make sound decisions when things are complex.
• You build strong relationships with colleagues, commissioners, local authorities, social work, housing, health services and regulators.
• You genuinely care about social change — about children, young people and families having a fair chance at a safe and supportive place to call home.

You will need the right qualifications, or be willing to work towards them, including SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and SVQ Level 4 in Management or SCQF equivalent. You will also need to be able to travel across agreed geographical areas, with a driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.

Our offer

Salary up to £44,436 per annum. Full time, permanent, 35 hours per week, reporting to the Head of Children and Families. Your core place of work will be 15 Dava Street, Glasgow, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and travel across Glasgow and West programmes as required. We are Right There, a charity that recently celebrated our 200th anniversary. We provide tailored support for people, at home, and in the community. We are here for people who are living with the effects of homelessness, poverty, substance use, or family breakdowns.

Due to growth within our Property team, we are recruiting for a Property Maintenance Supervisor to lead our internal maintenance field team helping ensure our properties are safe, well maintained and ready for the people we support.

Our Property team is responsible for the management of a portfolio of over 550 properties varying in size throughout Glasgow. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of Maintenance Technicians, Painters and Clearance and Maintenance Workers, and the post holder will scope and plan works from void properties and review works for tenanted properties.

You will oversee day to day repairs and maintenance across void and tenanted properties planning works, supporting technicians, painters and clearance workers and ensuring a high standard of workmanship, safety and service delivery.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Leading the management of void properties and maintenance of tenanted properties
• Responsible for scoping void properties, carrying out a detailed review of the property with clear guidance on category rating
• Advise on works required to bring void properties back to agreed standard
• Phase works and advise if there are any barriers to stop completion of works in agreed timelines
• Plan all works and procurement, advise of any parts that can be purchased in advance
• Collaborate with the Property Admin Manager on updates /plans on completion of works
• Review status of all properties undergoing any works via the internal field team at weekly meetings with the Head of Property
• Coordinate replacement of any items taken from voids at initial clear out ensuring complete inventory and recycle/upcycle where possible
• Lead the internal maintenance field team with a clear focus on delivery performance and outcome attainment to deliver all the required works to return void properties back to Short Term Housing as soon as possible
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the field team, feeding back on performance and highlight where there are skills gaps

What you can expect from us...

• Your normal working hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
