Lanarkshire Carers is recruiting a Clerical and Administration Assistant to join our professional and committed staff
team working to make a positive difference delivering information, advice and outcome-based support for unpaid
carers throughout Lanarkshire.
The position is full time, 35 hours per week worked flexibly to include occasional evenings and weekends, however
part time hours could be considered for the right candidate. Lanarkshire Carers is a progressive organisation
where you will be supported, valued and well rewarded. The salary for this role is Grade 2, SCP 5-7, £25,973 -
£27,378.
The Clerical and Administration Assistant will provide support to the Business Administration team, CEO and
operations of Lanarkshire Carers, contributing to the delivery of services and business requirements and working
collaboratively with other team members as and when required. Our staff team, many of whom are carers

Our workstyles
Post holders will be based between our centres in Hamilton and Airdrie, and localities throughout Lanarkshire, with
staff working on an outreach basis in community, health and social care venues across Lanarkshire Working from
home/hybrid working may also be required, although this post will not be part of the hybrid working rota and
will mainly work from Lanarkshire Carers Centre: Hamilton.
