This is a unique opportunity to lead an award-winning organisation dedicated to improving the lives of older adults across Renfrewshire, we are seeking and exceptional CEO to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth, and impact.
As CEO, you will lead the delivery of our 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, ensuring Roar continues to respond to the changing needs of older adults while strengthening its role as a key partner within Renfrewshire’s health and social care landscape.
You will provide strategic leadership, inspire a committed team and volunteer network, and position Roar as a leading voice in preventative, community-based ageing support.

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity located within Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. The hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with a life-limiting, progressive illness, and support for their families and carers.
Job Purpose
The Community Fundraiser at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice plays a vital role in driving grassroots fundraising and strengthening local engagement. This position is responsible for managing income from our network of 950 collection cans and ensuring excellent stewardship of community donors.
You will build meaningful connections with new and existing supporters, harness local networks, and maximise fundraising opportunities across the community. Your work will help deepen community relationships, increase income, and enhance the hospice’s impact.
This role also contributes to wider fundraising activity, supporting the team to generate the income needed to sustain the hospice’s essential services.

Your Impact
You will be the strategic partner to the CEO and Senior Management Team, leading on:
- People & Culture: Drive a values-led, inclusive culture.
- Organisational Development and Talent Management: Ensure that people strategies support improvement of the overall effectiveness, resilience, and success of the Hospice as it develops and expands its reach.
- People Operations & Compliance: Ensure effective practice HR operations, employee relations and policy development.
- Health, Safety, Sustainability & Governance: Ensure a safe, sustainable, healthy and compliant workplace.
- Internal Communications: Develop communications that inform, connect and strengthen organisational understanding
You’ll lead and develop a passionate People team, enabling excellence across all aspects of the employee and volunteer experience.
