At a critical time for the not-for-profit social care and support sector, the Coalition of Care & Support Providers in Scotland (CCPS) is recruiting for a Head of Operations.

About the role
The successful candidate will provide leadership to ensure our team are supported to deliver on our vision as effectively and sustainably as possible, and lead on implementing key elements of our new business strategy.
You will enjoy developing and delivering efficient business processes to support an organisation to flourish, with a mix of creativity and attention to detail. You will be a problem solver and have sound experience in taking forward change programmes. You will take a strongly values-led approach in all your work. You should be happy working in a small team and deadline-driven environment.

We’re seeking a strategic and compassionate leader to join us as Head of Homelessness Services, a pivotal role within our management team. As we conclude a major organisational transformation and embark on our new five-year strategy, this role will lead high-impact services and help drive innovative change.
About the Role
This new senior leadership post oversees our homelessness services, including temporary and emergency accommodation and youth housing support. You’ll lead a management team and support 70+ colleagues delivering services worth over £2.5m annually.
You’ll play a central role in shaping and delivering our homelessness strategy, ensuring services are trauma-informed, psychologically safe, and designed around the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop managers and teams across a multi-site division
- Drive strategic development, service innovation, and contract performance
- Embed psychologically informed practice and a culture of learning and accountability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, partners, and stakeholders
- Ensure services are high quality, financially sustainable, and aligned with organisational values
- Take a key role in safeguarding and risk management across services
What We’re Looking For
- A skilled, emotionally intelligent leader with experience in homelessness, housing, or closely related fields
- Strong strategic thinker with proven experience leading distributed teams
- Confident with budgets, service development, quality assurance, and compliance
- Able to work at pace, spot problems and opportunities, and deliver real solutions
- Strong communicator who thrives on collaboration and developing others
- Registered or eligible for SSSC registration as a Housing Support Manager
- Car and driving licence required.
You don’t need to have held a ‘Head of’ role before, if you’ve got multi-site leadership experience, a deep understanding of homelessness services, and the drive to make a difference, we want to hear from you.

Head of Services - Complex Lives

We are currently recruiting for Head of Service, this is an opportunity to be at the forefront of tackling rooflessness and homelessness in Glasgow.
The Service consists of a 7 day street outreach team and a very busy city centre multi agency hub.
The team also delivers a street cycles service with a small team of volunteers, a freephone and intensive case management approach.
You will be responsible for and lead a large team, working with partners across a range of services to create and develop solutions in a challenging environment.
The people we support have experienced significant trauma and whilst not having a safe and secure place to live is a huge deficit, there are many other factors at play requiring a highly person centred trauma informed approach to engage with and find the right solution for the person.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate face-to-face and online training across services
- Develop engaging, trauma-informed, person-centred learning content
- Administer and continuously improve the organisation’s training plans
- Lead on learning evaluation, training records, and quality compliance
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning and collaboration
What We’re Looking For
- Enthusiastic, self-directed professional with a passion for developing others
- Experience delivering training in adult social care (or related field)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A confident facilitator, comfortable guiding others through complex information
- Emotionally intelligent, values-led, and excited by doing things differently
- Able to travel across our services – a car and driving licence is essential

We are currently seeking a skilled individual to act as the Treasurer on our Board of Trustees. Key Responsibilities:
- High-level Financial Oversight: Review financial reports and monitor the organisation’s financial stability
- Board Communication: Keep the board informed about financial matters and update them of the organisation’s financial health
- Budget Oversight: Provide oversight and input to the annual budgeting process
- Annual Statutory Accounts: Assist in the preparation, review and approval of the annual statutory accounts
- Flagging Issues: The Treasurer should be capable of identifying and isolating financial issues, even if they are minor, and raising flags when necessary
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Professional: Ideally with a career background as a Financial Director or Financial Controller or similar (e.g. financial services)
- Confident Communicator: Able to inspire confidence, provide reassurance and communicate financial matters clearly to fellow Board members whose strengths may not include numeracy
- Strategic Thinker: Someone who can provide high-level oversight and has a keen eye for detail
- Familiarity with Charity Finance: Understanding of charity finance issues and governance, though specific software experience (e.g., XERO) is not required
