Are you a proactive and people-focused leader with a passion for delivering high-quality asset management services? We’re looking for an Assets Team Leader to ensure excellence, compliance, and real value for our customers.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Property Services and leading a team of three Asset Officers, you will be responsible for delivering our asset management plan to the highest standard. This includes overseeing the successful implementation of planned and cyclical maintenance, managing adaptations with a customer-first approach, and ensuring compliance with all contractual, financial, and health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of planned, cyclical, and adaptation programmes.
- Provide day-to-day management and leadership to the Assets Team.
- Maintain strong collaboration with the Repairs Team Leader and Health, Safety & Compliance Coordinator to deliver seamless service.
- Ensure quality control through regular monitoring of contractor performance and reporting on KPIs.
- Manage budgets, grant claims, and ensure accurate financial records.
- Drive continuous improvement in asset management strategy and service delivery.
- Promote a culture of shared responsibility, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in asset management, property services, or housing maintenance.
- Strong leadership and line management experience.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation, CDM regulations, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A commitment to delivering value-for-money services and enhancing customer experience.

Scottish Veterans’ Residences (SVR), Scotland’s oldest military charity. We support former Armed Forces and Merchant Navy personnel who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or who otherwise need housing support.
We are recruiting a Housing Support Officer to join the Support Team in our 83-room residence at Whitefoord House. Located at the foot of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh,
This is a permanent full-time post (37.5 hours/week) working across seven days on a four weekly repeating rota. This post is subject to PVG check.
Whitefoord House offers a dynamic housing support service to assist our Veterans to return to independent living where appropriate. We seek to maximise their independence and provide support to move on to appropriate, permanent accommodation wherever possible. Veterans have their own fully furnished en-suite room and access to all the facilities and support on site. Our facilities include a modern dining room providing all our residents with meals, as well as a gym, community library & and laundry services.
This is a pivotal role in delivering our service and as such, represent a fantastic career opportunity for the successful candidate.
ABOUT YOU
Motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of support to our Veterans. To fulfil our Vision and Mission, you will embed our Values to deliver the safety, health, comfort, and welfare of Veterans in line with the Care Inspectorate’s Health and Social Care Standards.
With a minimum of three years previous experience working in housing support you will be Professionally qualified and registered with the SSSC, you will hold an SVQ3 (or be working towards). Have an understanding of the supported housing sector and be able to demonstrate a track record of contributing t\o high quality services. You are reliable, consistent, focused, and flexible in both your outlook and approach.

About the Role:
The Head of Estate and Development will oversee the Estates Division of Blue Triangle, which includes a range of supported accommodation and property types (HMO, owned, leased etc), align our strategies and resultant plans with our Business Plan, ESG and Net Zero objectives and ensure the Estates and Property division provide efficient, timely and high-quality support to teams and supported people across our estate covering Repairs, Maintenance and Health and Safety. This role is based at our Glasgow central support office and involves working 35 hours per week.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement refurbishment and improvement programmes as identified in stock condition surveys, capital and net zero plans
- Plan and oversee delivery of capital work, ensuring alignment to priorities and budget constraints, delegating to property team members as required
- Work alongside the Head of Finance to develop budgets/spend across the estate’s portfolio, with accountability to monitor performance measures and targets for approval as directed through scheme of delegation
- Ensure compliance with regulation, legislation and statutory obligations within remit
- Lead on new property investment ranging from direct purchases from market, auctions, empty homes and including new build opportunities
- Manage and oversee strategic relationship with development partners, generating proposals, viewing and reviewing sites and site plans, building business cases and understanding ROI models
