STAND International

STAND International, through its learning centre, works with people in the UK and overseas to promote learning and understanding, and support practical structured learning opportunities for those who have experienced barriers to education and employment.

The acronym STAND comes from Start A New Day, denoting the idea that participating in projects allows participants to re-evaluate the opportunities they are presented with in life and to consider positive involvement in, and contributions to, their communities. Our learners have all experienced disadvantage in their lives, many of them through the care system, homelessness, substance use and other challenges.

Our learning programmes are delivered with partner organisations overseas and can lead to accredited qualifications. The projects support our learners to fulfil their potential, widen their horizons, and enhance their employment opportunities, whilst at the same time becoming more involved in an inclusive society.

Purpose of the Job:

This role will be accountable for developing and nurturing key strategic partnerships in the UK, as well as managing existing partners and connections.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be able lead from the front while ensuring you work as a key team member. As well as being able to build strong partnerships, you will have the ability to gather, analyse and use data to drive the Partnerships strategy forward.
