North West Glasgow Voluntary Sector Network supports, connects and advocates for Third Sector organisations within the North West of Glasgow so they have the funding, capacity and power to provide the best possible services.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person – we are recruiting a Development Worker (27 hours).

This is an opportunity to join the North West Glasgow Voluntary Sector Network SCIO,

  • to make sure that Third Sector organisations voices are heard in all relevant structures,
  • and support creation or development of local networks.

Our aim is to promote and enable effective information sharing, good communications and the exchange of ideas within the voluntary sector. This post offers an exciting and challenging opportunity that will create real benefits for the successful applicant and to the local communities with which they will engage. It includes opportunities to carry out existing work, as well as identifying and developing new pieces of work where you see a need.

We are looking for someone with a community development background, either with a qualification and/or experience in the field and who is keen to learn more. We will offer opportunities to learn and gain experience in many different areas. You can find out more about the role in the job description below.
