Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, fast-paced Corporate Services directorate. Due to an internal movement, we have an opportunity for a new Head of Digital Services to join the team.

We are looking for someone who can build on that reputation by leading the delivery of our digital strategy. Our Digital Services play a huge role in Blackwood’s success, and we are looking for someone who understands the importance and potential of seamless and integrated digital services for our customers and staff. As an experienced leader, you will be able to:

  • Inspire and enthuse our staff by understanding how digital technology can enable people to do their best work and provide people with the capability and tools to add value to our services to customers.
  • Deliver excellent comprehensive digital services, including infrastructure, security, data management and protection, telephony, and software support.
  • Make sure our digital services are secure, reliable, and robust.
  • Identify, plan, and coordinate a portfolio of programmes and projects alongside operational services.
  • Instill confidence in our Board and Executive Management Team by providing advice and assurance that our digital strategy is fit for purpose and will support our strategic plans and delivery.
