Join Our Compassionate Team as a Service Co-Ordinator in Aberdeenshire in our Fraserburgh Office.

The service office is based in the Fraserburgh Office. Working closely with the Service Manager, the Service Co-Ordinator will assist with the day to day co-ordination of the service in Aberdeen and Dundee, in accordance with service specifications, all legal requirements and the national Codes of Practice for Social Care Workers and Employers.

If you're caring, compassionate, and possess a variety of life skills and experiences, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact in your community. The support work you will be co-ordinating and sometimes carry out is care at home, respite and children services.

What we need:

  • An SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare SCQF level 6 and be willing to work towards SCQF level 9 or SCQF level 7 and PDA in Health and Social Care Supervision.
  • Considerable experience of delivering care, assessment, care planning and review.
  • Experience of supervising a team in a social care setting or similar setting is desirable
  • Flexibility is essential, offering you the chance to balance your work and personal commitments.
  • A requirement to participate in the service on call rota, for which an additional payment is made.
  • Crossroads covers the cost of your membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for Adults/Children. Reimbursement for the PVG Scheme fee within the first few months of your employment.
  • A driving licence is essential, and mileage is paid at 45p per mile.
