Service Administrator - Scottish Borders

Role

Our team in Galashiels is seeking an experienced Administrator, to provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative and support function to the wider team. This is a part time role, working 10 hours per week across Tuesday and Thursday.

Working within one of our services is always busy, sometimes challenging but always rewarding. We work collaboratively to provide the best support and treatment to anyone who needs it.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Undertake planning and administrative duties to support the effective delivery of services
  • Support the management team in maintaining high levels of data quality and information management
  • Maintain and create recordkeeping systems as required
  • Support the wider team to meet local health & safety requirements; - to include acting as a point of contact, to ensure the safety and security of staff and others is maintained at all times when allowing callers entry into the building
  • Ensure that our reception area is effectively managed and clients are greeted in a professional and timely manner.

REQUIRED SKILLS

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a successful track record of providing an efficient and reliable administrative support
  • Have knowledge and understanding of work based Health and Safety issues
  • Have demonstrable experience of working in an office environment
  • Have the ability to build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Possess the ability to manage competing/ con?icting demands, under own initiative managing own workload
  • Have the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Possess excellent IT and minute taking skills
