Role

Are you passionate about volunteering and the impact it can have in a community?

Would you like to change the lives of people with a visual impairment in Fife?

Do you have a flair for engaging and motivating people?

Since our formation as Fife Society for the Blind almost 160 years ago, we’ve been dedicated to serving those with visual impairment in Fife. Now as Seescape, we remain focussed on providing our clients with the information, skills and confidence to thrive.

We are seeking an experienced practitioner to join our award-winning team as a Volunteer Coordinator. This is a key role within our Community Engagement Team; our community-focussed service which aims to provide a programme of support and activities to reduce isolation and loneliness in our client group. With lead responsibility for our befriending service, social groups and volunteer management, we’re looking for a self-starter; someone with a flair for motivating people and the ability to manage a busy and wide-ranging workload.

We’re a family-friendly employer with a modern and welcoming staff base in Glenrothes, and we offer a number of benefits including flexible working, regular training and development, and generous holidays.
