Role

Every day, people across Scotland are adjusting to life following a diagnosis of a chest or heart condition, after experiencing a stroke or dealing with Long Covid. At Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS), Scotland's leading health charity, we're working to ensure there is No Life Half Lived, and you could play a vital role in making that happen.

We provide a range of services, notably through our Community Healthcare Support Service, which delivers supported self-management and recovery services across Scotland.

By joining CHSS as Schools & Community Fundraiser, you’ll have a real opportunity to help people move beyond simply surviving, towards managing their health, regaining confidence and independence and connecting with their communities.

About the Role

It’s an exciting opportunity to join our Fundraising Team and help grow community fundraising income across Scotland for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

As our Schools & Community Fundraiser, you’ll play a vital role in inspiring people to support CHSS through schools, community groups, local organisations and individual fundraising initiatives.

Working as part of a friendly, supportive and passionate team, you’ll build meaningful relationships, deliver engaging campaigns such as our Tartan Tea Party and Futurepreneurs Schools Programme, recruit and support volunteers, and encourage people to fundraise in ways that are personal to them.

Through creativity, excellent supporter stewardship and proactive outreach, you’ll create memorable supporter experiences, grow sustainable income, develop long-term community partnerships and help bring communities together to make a lasting difference to the lives of people affected by chest, heart and stroke conditions.

If you’re passionate about people, communities and making a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
