Role

Do you have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail? Do you want to use these skills to support an organisation that makes a difference to the lives of young women who’ve experienced sexual abuse, exploitation and other forms of sexual violence?

As the Office Administrator you will be supporting our front line staff to help our young women build an independent life and a positive future. You will contribute to our warm and welcoming office environment, which is so important to making them feel safe. You will also be taking referrals over the phone, so your empathy and understanding attitude will be key to this role.

The role will involve covering all aspects of office administration, including dealing with enquiries, maintaining office supplies and repairs, basic finance and HR administration, supplier contracts, database administration and reporting, arranging meetings and events, and office health and safety.

Please download the Job and Person Specification for more detail on the requirements of the role.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS ROLE IS OPEN TO WOMEN ONLY (EXEMPT UNDER SCHEDULE 9 OF THE EQUALITY ACT 2010).

SAY Women strives to be an equal opportunity employer and we welcome applications from individuals who are disadvantaged and under-represented in the labour market.

Benefits:

  • A generous annual leave allowance as well as an additional two-week leave during our Christmas closure period.
  • Excellent pension (on completion of probation period).
  • A commitment to staff development including a budget for staff training.
  • Employee Assistance Programme membership.
  • Progressive feminist employment policies that promote equality, wellbeing, flexibility, and a healthy work-life balance.
