The Fundraising & Marketing Officer is a new role reporting into our Head of Fundraising. The successful candidate will help build lasting relationships with our donors and supporters and lead the campaigns that bring vital funding to the families we support.

The Role

As Fundraising & Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in growing the income Amma relies on to do its work.

You will develop and deliver our individual giving programme, build donor journeys through our CRM and email marketing, and deliver our fundraising campaigns, working closely with the Head of Fundraising on strategy and targets.

You will apply Amma's brand identity consistently across our channels and campaign materials, produce our newsletter, and own the website's donate page and other key conversion pages.

You'll also work closely with the Advocacy & Communications Officer, who will help shape campaign messaging and other digital content.

The Advocacy & Communications Officer is a new role reporting into our Head of Advocacy & Communications. The successful candidate will help ensure that Amma's voice, and the voices of the families we support, reach the public and the decision-makers who can drive change.

The Role

As Advocacy & Communications Officer, you will play a key role in shaping how Amma's work is understood and valued by the public and by the decision-makers we're working to influence.

You will coordinate and produce our annual Impact Report and any future research reports; write blogs, news stories, and social media content that demonstrate the impact of our work and help to advance our advocacy priorities; and keep across the policy landscape so Amma can respond promptly.

You will also represent Amma in the community, delivering presentations and attending events to raise awareness of our work and advocacy positions. You will work with our Experts by Experience group, alongside the Advocacy & Community Engagement Manager, to co-develop content that reflects lived experiences.

The Advocacy & Communications Officer will work closely with the Fundraising & Marketing Officer, helping to shape campaign messaging and other digital content.

Refugee Sanctuary Scotland's aim is to relieve destitution and promote wellbeing for people within the asylum system in Scotland.

Role Purpose

The Hub Coordinator will support the effective, welcoming and safe day-to-day operation of Refugee Sanctuary Scotland's Hub, based in the city centre of Glasgow.

The postholder will help ensure that the Hub is a warm, inclusive and well-organised space for people seeking asylum and refugees, supporting opportunities for connection, wellbeing, learning, creativity and community.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, the Hub Coordinator will coordinate day-to-day Hub activity, support volunteers, welcome and engage with people using the Hub, maintain appropriate records, support activities and events, and work with partner organisations.

The role requires someone who has a good understanding of the UK Asylum System and the experiences of people seeking asylum, together with a practical, organised and person-centred approach.

*We offer a flexible working pattern, with occasional earlier or later starts depending on class schedules. The role may also require some evening or weekend work, although this will be rare.

Some weekday classes at the Hub finish circa 6pm,

so flexibility is important to ensure appropriate cover and support.
