Role

This is a key role in our Whole Family Support Fund programme. We are recruiting Family Advisors for the following hub areas:

  • Glasgow
  • Lanarkshire
  • Highlands and Islands
  • East & Midlothian
  • Dumfries and Galloway

You’ll hold a personal caseload, providing information, advice and practical and emotional support to families raising neurodivergent children and young people. You’ll work directly with families; facilitate group sessions; and help families navigate education, health, and social care.

You will be an experienced practitioner with a background in advice, education, health, social care, community development or a related field. You will be an excellent communicator, able to build trusting relationships with families, children and young people, and to work effectively with schools, health services and local partners.

This post may occasionally require evening and/or weekend work and will involve frequent travel across your hub area.
