Angus Primary Years Wellbeing Service
The Angus Primary Years Wellbeing Service helps to support primary school aged children with their mental health. We offer 1-1 and group wellbeing support in schools to children in Angus aged 5-12 years and their parents/carers. Our focus is on children experiencing anxiety, low mood, behavioural and social difficulties. We aim to help build emotional resilience and improve children’s overall health and wellbeing.
What we are looking for....
We are looking to recruit a Wellbeing Support Worker to join our team, working 37.5 hours per week. This role will be predominantly worked Monday-Friday, core office hours, but as this post includes an unsocial hours allowance, you are required to be flexible with your approach and available to work weekends, early mornings, evenings, and public holidays. This post is currently funded until March 2028 with the possibility of a further 1 year extension.
Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
Candidates should have experience of working with young people and their families both individually and within a group setting. Applicants should be dynamic and creative and be able to deliver flexible, person-centred services to vulnerable children and families which is playful, warm, accepting, curious, tenacious, and empathetic.
