At CHAS, every fundraising campaign has a purpose beyond clicks, conversions and ROI. The income you help generate
will support children with life-shortening conditions and the families who love them across Scotland.
We're looking for a creative, curious and ambitious Fundraising Campaigns Coordinator to help deliver inspiring
fundraising campaigns that engage supporters, grow income and help ensure every family who needs CHAS can access
our care. You’ll be joining the team at a unique and critical time as we seek to deliver the More Than A Hospice
Appeal, a £20m capital appeal to transform how Scotland cares for children with life-shortening conditions.
You'll work closely with the Fundraising Campaigns Manager and colleagues across CHAS to deliver multi-channel
fundraising and supporter acquisition and retention campaigns, helping to plan, execute, optimise and report on
activity across a range of channels.
From digital lead generation and email marketing to supporter journeys, face-to-face fundraising and direct mail
appeals, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on campaigns that reach thousands of supporters
across Scotland and that seek to ensure that no family should face the death of their child alone.
You'll also:
• Support year-round fundraising acquisition and retention campaigns.
• Help deliver and optimise digital acquisition activity.
• Write compelling copy for emails, web and supporter communications.
• Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and communications.
• Provide excellent account management of fundraising partners and external suppliers.
This role is fixed term until 31 August 2027, to support our Fundraising Campaigns while the current post-holder
undertakes a maternity cover secondment elsewhere within CHAS.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have skill and experience in delivering fundraising and marketing campaigns
across a range of channels. You’ll be a brilliant communicator, have a track record of successfully working as
part of a team, can think creatively and can use data and technology to inform your decision making and power
your campaigns.
About CHAS
We support families during the toughest of times. We have ambitions to reach every family in Scotland who is living
with the heart-breaking prognosis that their child is dying and offer them our care and support to empower them
to make the most of the short time they have together, as well as supporting them with life after loss.
But more than this - through the More Than a Hospice Appeal, we have an urgent and bold plan to change the future of
how care is delivered for every dying child in Scotland, forever.
We want every family to have real choice over their child’s care, both while they live, and at end of life. The
fundraising team will play a crucial part in making this possible, and as Fundraising Campaigns Coordinator, you
will truly be working towards the funds that make this vision a reality in the future.
