Role

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing counselling for children and young people aged 8-25 years on a one-to-one basis who are survivors of sexual abuse.

Experience of providing counselling for people with complex needs. A working understanding of the needs of children and young people who have experienced or been affected by the trauma of sexual abuse. Specialist training in counselling children and young people. Experience of working collaboratively with other organisations and knowledge of the voluntary sector is essential.
