We are looking to recruit a Vision Link Worker to join the Sight Scotland & Sight Scotland Veteran’s Team. You
will work with our Rehab and Group co-ordinator teams, to support people with sight loss across the
Highlands.
As a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is empathetic and a skilled communicator, you will have prior
experience of working with individuals with sight loss. With the ability to assess the needs of Service Users
within their own homes or over the phone. You will be part of a high performing team which will helps lead the
charity to continued success in meeting the aspirations of those who we support.
If you have experience in a relevant field, have clear understanding of sight loss and the challenges people face and
feel you have the skills to grow and develop the service, then we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out home visits throughout the Highlands & Western Isles
therefore a full driving licence is required.
Where able, this role will be carried out under our homeworking policy, you will work from home. However, travel to
one of our sites for face to face team meetings and training will be required occasionally.
