The Role
We’re looking for a passionate, engaging Trainer/Assessor to deliver high-quality training and assessments for our
volunteers. From first aid and manual handling to safeguarding and future programme development, you’ll help
ensure our volunteers are confident, competent and fully equipped to deliver exceptional service.
This is a dynamic and people-focused role where you’ll:
- Deliver and assess volunteer training in line with national standards
- Mentor and support Volunteer
Trainer/Assessors
- Maintain accurate training records and update our Volunteer Relationship Management
system
- Support induction and ongoing development pathways
- Contribute to improving training
materials and delivery methods
- Provide occasional cover for commercial training and emergency
events
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Hold a recognised training and/or assessor qualification
- Have a valid First Aid at Work
qualification
- Communicate confidently and engage learners effectively

- Enjoy mentoring others and fostering continuous improvement
This role includes periodic evening and weekend working, travel outside Glasgow, and participation in an on-call
rota.
