We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Tenancy Sustainment Officer. In this role you will provide supportive customer service to all tenants to help them sustain tenancy and wellbeing. The key areas of responsibility for this role are:

• Tenant Satisfaction and Engagement

Use excellent communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with all tenants. Assess tenant satisfaction, understand their future plans, and identify any needs for additional support with tenancy sustainment and community engagement.

• Tenancy Sustainment

Support tenants to develop personal life skills related to household management and maintaining a healthy home environment. Ensure tenants settle into their new property and the wider community, and that the property is kept to a good standard.

• Arrears and Welfare Management

Work collaboratively with tenants to assess income and maximise financial stability. Provide advocacy, support with applications for welfare funds, assistance with debt management, collating evidence, and attending appeal hearings when required.

• Securing Long-Term Support

Act as an introducer and representative for tenants with primary, secondary, and third-sector services. Strengthen support networks through effective engagement with community organisations and health partnerships.

• Operational Contribution to the Team

Actively contribute to the delivery of operational objectives across wider team, including accurate reporting on tenancy sustainment performance in line with the company’s Vital Signs and Social Impact metrics

We have positioned ourselves as the leading HIV charity in Scotland and our aim is to effectively influence the policy and service landscape to ensure that Scotland reaches zero HIV transmission by 2030. We are achieving this through raising awareness of HIV and undertaking projects to meet different workforces and communities education needs.

HIV Informed is a national education resource for Scotland’s health and social care workforce, launched by Waverley Care in December 2025.

It is a free online learning hub designed to:

• Challenge outdated knowledge and misconceptions about HIV

• Provide accurate, up-to-date information on HIV today

• Reduce stigma and discrimination

• Support professionals to deliver inclusive, respectful, stigma‑free care

The learning hub includes structured learning modules, knowledge quizzes to support learning and reflection, engaging videos and lived experience content and downloadable learning resources for use in practice and training.

HIV Informed was developed by Waverley Care in partnership with NHS Scotland and people living with HIV and is funded by the Scottish Government.

This post will work to actively promote and embed HIV Informed within health and social care settings across Scotland. The role will achieve this through delivering short awareness sessions and developing existing resources for frontline staff.

This role would collaborate with health and social care management teams and learning and development teams to support the implementation of HIV informed in workforce development plans. Furthermore, the postholder will attend national conferences, network meetings and stakeholder events.

About You

• A demonstrable interest in, and passion for, improving the lives of people affected by blood-borne viruses (BBVs), in particular people disproportionately affected by HIV

As an employee of the Scottish Recovery Consortium (SRC), reporting to the Prison Recovery Development Lead. The successful post holder will have a unique opportunity to work within Scottish Prisons establishments developing and promoting peer lead recovery initiatives, creating a culture of recovery across the Scottish prison service by supporting the development of an operational approach to the “Recovery from Within” project, which works in collaboration with all stakeholders and promotes a person-centred approach to Recovery

The role involves facilitate groups delivering SRC’s “Recovery from Within” learning offerings to residents and staff across the prison service with a focus on developing community assets and supporting sustainable peer led Recovery development within prisons.

Your role will be to:

• Facilitate the delivery of SRC “Recovery from Within” learning offerings to residents, staff and partners developing greater awareness of the experience of addiction and recovery within key institutions
• Build relationships that will support the continuum of recovery for residents which compliments the core work and traditional approaches of prisons, substance use services, criminal justice and healthcare systems.
