About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you’ll work as part of a team in providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for the people who use our services. You’ll do this by providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.

Main Responsibilities:

This Support Worker role working at East Kilbride involves working on a rota covering nightshifts that includes some weekend work. This role is working 33.25 hours per week following a 8 week rolling rota – 4 nights on and 4 nights off continuously and on a 9:45pm-7:15am shift pattern.

About the Role:

We are recruiting for a nightshift support worker to work in Somerset Place Service providing support to 8 young people (16-25). The young people come from care experienced backgrounds and have often experienced complex trauma. You would work as part of a team providing trauma informed support and working in a person centred way; recognising the importance positive relationships can have. As a support worker you would have specific keyworker responsibilities, as well as providing holistic outcome based support to all of the young people in the service. You would also ensure accurate record keeping, follow organisational polices and adhere to all codes of conduct.
