Role
East Ayrshire Citizens Advice Bureau (EACAB) is a progressive and innovative advice organisation dedicated to providing free, impartial, and confidential advice to local communities. We offer both generalist advice and specialist casework services to support people in need.
We are seeking 2 highly organised Outreach Officers to join the team in either our Kilmarnock or Cumnock bureau. One of these posts will be required to travel throughout East Ayrshire and the other throughout North Ayrshire.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality, accessible advice and support to individuals and communities across East Ayrshire or North Ayrshire, particularly those least likely to engage with traditional CAB services. The role will involve identifying priority communities, establishing and running regular outreach clinics, engaging directly with vulnerable groups, and providing advice and assistance focused primarily on income maximisation, benefit entitlement, and financial stability. The postholder will also support wider generalist advice needs and make referrals for complex casework when required.
A key requirement of this role is that the postholder must be able to travel independently, using their own vehicle, to multiple outreach locations as part of their duties.

The Manda Centre is a registered charity established to assist in relieving the mental and physical suffering and distress and support to those experiencing a high level of loss, isolation and loneliness due to Trauma, Loss & Personal Crisis.

Role
We are seeking a highly motivated individual, who will be central to the growth and sustainability of the Manda Centre - to ensure we make a real difference to the people we support.
You will lead on promoting the service provision of the Manda Centre with all our stake holders in the community.
You will also be responsible for identifying and organising a small number of fundraising opportunities over the two-year period.
With excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Management Board to shape and deliver innovative, community led initiatives.
Raise awareness of The Manda Centre’s services through events, presentations & marketing materials.
We require a versatile individual who will communicate effectively at all levels, collaborates well with others and can work independently when required
Assist with general admin and support where needed and other reasonable duties consistent with working for a small charitable organisation.

Purpose of Role
Inverness Badenoch and Strathspey Citizens Advice Bureau (IBS CAB) are responsible for developing, implementing, and managing various projects which enable and support different regional specialist services. This follows the successful award of a grant by Macmillan Cancer Support. This post will have direct responsibility and accountability for the delivery of assigned projects from inception through to the successful operational running and where applicable exit and close out.
The main project, which will be allocated, will be to ensure that across 14 Local Authority Across Scotland including (Dundee City, Clackmannanshire, Fife, Aberdeen City, Stirling, Falkirk, Highland, Angus, Orkney Islands, Perth and Kinross, Na h-Eileanan Siar, Shetland Islands, Moray and Aberdeenshire) that advice and information is provided to individuals that are living with a diagnosis of cancer. This will include Welfare Benefits Advice and advice to improve Financial Health and Wellbeing because of the diagnosis of cancer. This “new” project brings together 12 previous advice projects into one regional project.
Supporting the other Delivery Partners to provide the service is crucial, ensuring they are appropriately resourced, trained, and contracts are managed to achieve and maintain the levels of competence required to deliver a quality service
The post holder supported by the Chief Executive will be responsible to the funder on all stages and aspects of projects, ensuring their strategic goals are aligned with the funder’s strategy. Report back via formal mechanisms to demonstrate the project is meeting its compliance and quality standards and any targets
The requirement will be to plan and manage resources, liaising with the wider team, to effectively deliver the projects, fostering a team culture across a dispersed team. Direct and support the team to communicate and engage with stakeholders effectively, monitoring performance and service design.
This includes identifying resources required, planning the work to realise the expected benefits as well as managing dependencies, workloads, and timetables. The role will coordinate the execution of work to help individuals deliver their part consistently and effectively, whilst managing change and risks through proactive performance monitoring, contingency planning, and formulating exit strategy processes.
The postholder also has an element of oversight and co-ordination across the active projects portfolio and assists each team with project planning and management, including but not limited to governance and controls, communication and engagement, performance, and risk management.
A key element of the role is to work with other stakeholders to sustaining this project with mainstream funding from Government of statutory agencies.
Race / Equalities Engagement Support Officer

We are seeking a person with extensive knowledge and understanding of Anti-Racism and Intersectional EDI to support and co-lead the further development of the Scottish Environmental EDI Network (SEEN), which is a wide membership of environmental sector organisations that are committed to developing improved anti-racism and intersectional equality policies and good practices within their organisations. You will therefore also need experience in developing anti-racism and intersectional good practice tools such as race / equality policy templates and good practice guidance materials for shared learning. Your knowledge of anti-racism and intersectional equalities should also extend to experience in delivering race / equalities training and providing consultancy support to organisations.
Peer and exchange learning will also be a key development within the SEEN and so experience in organising learning events and activities will be a key attribute for this post.
There will be many SEEN members and clients of CEMVO’s Race Equality Environmental Programme (REEP) that will seek to engage with ethnic minority groups / communities as part of their approach to developing anti-racist policies and practices, and so you will need experience in undertaking outreach work with EM groups / communities so as to organise and facilitate engagement with mainstream environmental organisations.
