About the Role:
We are recruiting for a nightshift support worker to work in Somerset Place Service providing support to 8 young people (16-25). The young people come from care experienced backgrounds and have often experienced complex trauma. You would work as part of a team providing trauma informed support and working in a person centred way; recognising the importance positive relationships can have. As a support worker you would have specific keyworker responsibilities, as well as providing holistic outcome based support to all of the young people in the service. You would also ensure accurate record keeping, follow organisational polices and adhere to all codes of conduct.
Main Responsibilities:
The shift pattern involves working 24 hours per week, across a 4 week rolling rota. Shift times are: 9pm-5am and 11:15pm-7:15am. The role includes managing the admission of new supported people, key working, completing reviews and risk assessments. The Support Worker will:
