Ideally you will be a qualified SVQ assessor who is interested in developing a career as a Foundation Apprenticeship Tutor. We also welcome applications from individuals with a teaching qualification who are interested in applying their skills in a vocational learning environment. Your experience in education and learner engagement will be highly valued as part of our team.

You will deliver, assess and moderate a programme of vocational learning in a number of Secondary Schools, supporting students with the Foundation Apprenticeship in Social Services (Children and Young People), SCQF Level 6 and Skills for Work Early Education and Childcare National 4/5.

You should be able to provide robust assessment and good quality support to learners. You should have the ability to inspire confidence and motivate learners working in a range of early learning and childcare settings, ensuring their assessment is carried out to the required standards.

This post is advertised as 30 hours per week but consideration could also be made for term time working if this is of interest.
