Role

Are you passionate about caring for young people and sharing your Christian faith with them? Can you bring enthusiasm, drive and imagination to the role of Youth Worker in Broxburn and Uphall?

Here you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver an effective Christian youth work ministry. building on established work in the area, working alongside the project’s volunteers and young leaders. Ideally you will bring to the role relevant youth work experience and/or qualifications.

The BUSY Project is an initiative of BASICS Trust, a registered charity, working in partnership with SU Scotland. It works with young people in schools, in local churches, in the community, and in residential holiday settings.

It is important the post-holder is committed to the BUSY Project’s aims and to SU Scotland’s ethos, working principles and vision and can demonstrate this through their commitment and motivation. It is also an Occupational Requirement that they have a personal faith in Jesus Christ.
